Earth Day 2009
We spent this Earth Day making paper from paper and then making stuff, not paper, from that pulp. Bowls, shapes. The plan is to paint them once they dry.

Hawthorne Pirate Treasure Hunt 09
The first Sunday after tax day Hawthorne businesses host a pirate treasure hunt. You go around to a bunch of the businesses and answer questions and at the end you get a prize. Good times. Also fun to see pirates walking all over on both sides of the street.

Easter 2009
It was a pretty good day. Preston hunted Easter eggs and Finney helped. We made candy nests and then headed to los abuelitos for Easter dinner. Ham and yumminess abounded. We wrapped up the day by watching the Doctor Who Easter Special. So good. Happy Easter everybody.

Tillamook Cheese Factory
This past weekend we took a little day trip to the coast and stopped by the Tillamook Cheese Factory before heading home. Let's just say it is AWESOME! Here's a little video tribute. This is a part of the factory where cheese blocks are vacuum sealed and moved along. More posts and pics to come on recent activities.
